Job summary

Mercer Advisors seeks a seasoned leader to head Trading, Operations, and Billing within a national investment platform. You will oversee end-to-end trading, operations, and client billing, ensuring fiduciary compliance and scalable processes across a large team.

You will collaborate with CIO, Investment Committee, and Finance to optimize the platform, drive continuous improvement, and mentor future leaders in a fiduciary-first culture.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in operations, trading, or wealth/investment management platforms.
• Experience managing large, multi-functional teams.
• Deep understanding of operations, trading systems, and billing within an RIA or institutional setting.
• Strong knowledge of fiduciary standards, compliance, and risk frameworks.
• Proven track record driving process transformation, automation, and scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic direction for Trading, Operations and Billing to support firm growth and client experience.
• Evolve the operating model to align with Mercer Advisors’ integrated family office approach.
• Partner with CIO, Investment Committee, and Technology leadership to enhance the investment platform.
• Establish a continuous improvement mindset with measurable gains in efficiency and quality.
• Oversee operations including portfolio accounting, reconciliation, performance reporting, and client billing.
• Build and mentor next-generation leaders across Trading, Operations, and Billing teams.
• Represent Investment Platform Operations in firm-wide initiatives and strategic projects.
• Drive governance, controls, and audit readiness across investment operations, account operations, and billing.
