ING Americas in New York is seeking a Vice President, TIPM & Operational Resilience Risk to lead second-line oversight of critical risk programs. You will advise the First Line on third-party risk, continuity, and resilience, strengthening governance and regulatory readiness in a hybrid work environment.

The role collaborates across three lines of defense, supports regulatory examinations, and contributes to risk-informed decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in risk management, business, finance, technology, or related field; advanced degree or certification preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in non-financial risk, operational risk, third-party risk, or related disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. banking supervisory expectations related to risk management and regulatory examinations.
• Ability to perform independent second-line review and communicate issues to senior stakeholders.
• Experience evaluating third-party and intragroup arrangements, BIAs, scenarios, and contingency planning.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; familiarity with risk-management tools is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Provide independent second-line oversight of TIPM, Operational Resilience, and Business Continuity programs.
• Advise First Line on risk management and regulatory expectations without ownership of execution.
• Challenge third-party and intragroup arrangements across criticality, subcontracting, continuity, and recovery.
• Review business services, BIAs, impact tolerances, testing results, and remediation actions.
• Develop risk-based monitoring and reporting for governance forums; document conclusions and escalations.
• Collaborate across three lines of defense and support regulatory examinations and audits.
