Job summary

Raymond James is seeking a Vice President, Technology Risk Assurance to lead enterprise technology risk governance and the BISO organization, coordinating with Technology, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, Compliance, Internal Audit and business leadership.

This executive drives independent assurance activities, ensures timely remediation, and develops executive reporting on risk posture, control effectiveness, and regulatory examinations.

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience in technology risk and cybersecurity.
• Experience with regulatory examinations and audits.
• Ability to translate risk into business impact and strategic recommendations.
• Proven track record in large, enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Technology Risk Assurance and BISO organizations, establishing strategy, governance, and operating priorities.
• Oversee enterprise technology risk management practices, including risk identification, assessment, monitoring, reporting, and escalation.
• Direct assurance activities to evaluate the effectiveness of technology and cybersecurity controls, including control testing and technical assurance reviews.
• Partner with Technology, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, Compliance, Internal Audit, and business leaders to drive risk management and control execution.
• Serve as the primary executive liaison for technology-related regulatory examinations, audits, and external assessments.
• Ensure timely remediation of technology risk issues, audit findings, and regulatory concerns.
• Develop and deliver executive-level reporting that shows risk posture and control effectiveness.
• Lead, develop, and mentor senior leaders to foster accountability and continuous improvement.
