Job summary

Morgan Stanley in the Technology division seeks a Technical Program Manager - Vice President to lead end-to-end delivery of technology solutions within the Wealth Management Monitoring Technology (WMMT) department. This principal software engineering role oversees cross-functional teams, applying Agile practices to align with program objectives.

The role collaborates with WM Risk, WM Compliance, product and engineering to define roadmaps, manage risk, and ensure regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in technology delivery with at least 5+ years in the Wealth Management domain.
• Strong analytical, attention-to-detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of technology and software design with ability to partner with technical architect.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of technology solutions for WMMT program objectives, guiding teams with agile practices.
• Collaborate with WM Risk, WM Compliance, product, and engineering to define the Technology Roadmap and supervisory controls.
• Coordinate with peers to manage pipelines for WM Risk and Compliance initiatives through all stages from discovery to implementation.
• Engage with subject matter experts, developers, scrum masters, and product owners in planning sessions, sprints, and retrospectives.
• Deliver technical and client-facing support, including assisting Litigation with discovery processes and resolving project-related issues.
• Manage delivery timelines, risks, and dependencies across concurrent workstreams with governance adherence.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to senior stakeholders and act as escalation point for project queries.
• Promote continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability within the delivery team.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of WM Risk (1L) and Compliance (2L) platforms and regulatory implementations.
