Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive executive leadership in talent management within news, podcasting, digital media, or broadcast entertainment.
• Active network of journalists, creators, agencies, and digital-first storytellers.
• Proven track record structuring and negotiating complex talent contracts and rights.
• Experience building diverse talent rosters engaging cross-generational audiences.
• Experience mediating high-stakes creative environments with discretion and integrity.
• Commitment to editorial independence and civic mission of public media.

Responsibilities

• Executive relationship management with high‑profile journalists, hosts, and contributors.
• Talent scouting and pipeline development across multiple platforms.
• Cross‑functional mediation between talent, agents, and internal teams.
• Contract structuring and negotiation alongside CCO, Legal, and People teams.
• Editorial standards and mission alignment in recruitment and partnerships.
• Audience forecasting and metric analysis for evolving media formats.
