Job summary

Shoulder Innovations in Grand Rapids seeks a strategic, hands-on Vice President of Supply Chain to lead and optimize sourcing, planning, production, logistics and performance.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in medical devices with strong SIOP and ERP experience (NetSuite/NetStock preferred) and an MBA or similar certification. This role shapes growth and quality in a fast-paced, values-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive supply chain or operations experience in medical device industry.
• Strong leadership, communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's supply chain strategy to support objectives and growth.
• Lead supplier selection, contract negotiations, and supplier performance management.
• Drive inventory planning and optimization to maintain service levels while controlling costs.
• Partner with manufacturing to align production capacity with forecasted demand.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and quality standards across the supply chain.
• Lead SIOP processes and demand planning initiatives.
• Identify cost reduction and process improvements across the supply chain.
• Leverage technology and systems to increase visibility and decision-making.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies for business continuity.
• Establish KPIs and reporting to drive continuous improvement.
• Build and lead a high-performing supply chain organization.
