Vallum Associates in Stamford, CT seeks a VP Structured Finance to lead debt and tax equity financings for the solar portfolio across multiple transactions nationwide. You will own structuring and execution, and serve as lead negotiator on core documents, with cross-functional coordination across development, construction, legal, and asset management teams.

This is a senior investment banking–style role reporting to the Head of Structured Finance; salary up to $250k base with bonus and equity,

Qualifications

• Experience structuring and executing debt and tax equity financings.
• Experience negotiating securitization credit agreements and tax equity partnerships.
• Strong financial modeling skills and stress-testing.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional deal teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the structuring and execution of debt and tax equity financings that fund the company’s solar portfolio.
• Serve as lead negotiator on core transaction documents, including securitization credit agreements, tax equity partnership agreements, and holding company-level credit facilities.
• Drive financing deals to close by coordinating due diligence, third-party consultants, rating agency engagement, outside counsel, and other transaction participants.
• Act as the primary relationship contact for tax equity investors and lenders across deal marketing, closing, and long-term facility administration.
• Build, maintain, and stress-test financial models supporting structured finance deal execution.
• Work cross-functionally with development, construction, legal, and asset management teams to keep project execution on schedule.
• Oversee financial performance reporting for the operating portfolio, partnering closely with the internal operations team to track results.

VP Structured Finance with a leading IPP. Working across transactions in the DG Solar & Storage in 40 states nationwide. This role will report into the Head of Structured Finance.

• Own the structuring and execution of debt and tax equity financings that fund the company's solar portfolio
• Serve as lead negotiator on core transaction documents, including securitization credit agreements, tax equity partnership agreements, and holding company-level credit facilities
• Drive financing deals to close by coordinating due diligence, third-party consultants, rating agency engagement, outside counsel, and other transaction participants
