Overview
We are partnered with a fast-growing, U.S.-based Independent Power Producer (IPP) backed by a long-term infrastructure investor. The company focuses exclusively on the development, ownership, and operation of utility-scale renewable energy projects - including solar and storage - across North America. With several gigawatts in the pipeline and a leadership team composed of seasoned industry professionals, the business is scaling rapidly and building internal financing capabilities to support ongoing growth.

You’ll play a key role in building the company’s internal financing function and will work directly with the executive leadership team to scale the business.
Responsibilities

- Own the financing process end-to-end: partner engagement, diligence, documentation, modeling, internal approvals, and closing.
- Develop and implement internal project finance infrastructure, including processes, tools, and reporting.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (development, legal, engineering) to ensure bankability and optimize capital stack.
- Represent the company with financing partners, demonstrating polish and leadership in high-stakes conversations.
- Stay on top of market trends, IRA-related financing structures (e.g., PTC, ITC, transferability), and capital provider dynamics.
