Job summary

JPMorganChase seeks a Vice President, Relationship Manager in the Community Engagement team to advance policy, business and community priorities through engagement with influential third-party stakeholders.

The role will report to the Community Engagement Regional Executive for the West and focus on Northern CA, partnering with policy organizations, advocates, and civic groups to shape conversations on financial services and community impact.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in stakeholder management, government relations, grantmaking, and/or consumer and/or housing policy.
• Thought leadership and subject matter expertise on issues impacting the firm's reputation and business operations.
• Exceptional negotiation, written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders, considering multiple points of view.
• Integrity and strong work ethic with high attention to detail and deadlines.
• Creative, flexible, collaborative, and results-oriented with the ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in Office tools: PowerPoint, Teams, Excel, and others as needed.
• Domestic travel, approximately once monthly or as needed.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a portfolio of influential third-party stakeholder relationships across Northern CA and/or the broader assigned region.
• Work cross-functionally with colleagues to develop and design strategies aligned with the firm’s priorities.
• Partner with Government Relations and Policy Communications to advance policy priorities.
• Represent the firm at external events and convenings to foster relationships.
• Activate thought leadership through stakeholder-hosted events, sponsorships, and forums.
• Design, organize, and host forums/events promoting dialogue between senior firm executives and partners.
• Manage an annual grant portfolio aligned with strategic focus areas.
• Conduct analysis to inform decisions on strategy and investments and align with annual planning.
