Job summary

HVMG seeks a Vice President of Strategic Sourcing to design and scale a proactive procurement function across its managed properties. You will set supplier strategy, lead negotiations, and drive value through direct and indirect spend, partnering with hotel operations, finance, and corporate leaders.

This senior leader will establish governance, vendor programs, and performance metrics, while building strong relationships with manufacturers and distributors.

Qualifications

• Proven track record building and leading a sourcing function.
• Expert negotiation across pricing, rebates, terms.
• Strong analytical and financial skills incl. spend analysis.
• Ability to present to executives and influence leaders.
• Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint; SharePoint experience; procurement platforms preferred.
• Hospitality industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the strategic sourcing function and procurement plan.
• Oversee programs for F&B, linen, paper and cleaning supplies, operating supplies, FF&E, uniforms, technology and services.
• Evaluate suppliers on pricing, quality, service levels, delivery and fit.
• Negotiate pricing, rebates, terms and service commitments with suppliers.
• Set procurement governance and training; serve as go-to sourcing resource.
• Develop direct relationships with manufacturers and distributors; represent at events.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, ownership and corporate teams to align purchasing with guest experience and cost control.
