Job summary

The Judge Group in Orlando, FL seeks a Vice President of Procurement to lead strategic vision, vendor relationships, and inventory performance for our single-site foodservice operation.

We require a transformational leader who can elevate the purchasing team to proactive, data-driven category management, optimize COGS and margins, and ensure reliable supply across perishable and non-perishable categories.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of progressive procurement leadership within foodservice distributor.
• Hands-on on-site experience in a high-turnover facility distribution environment.
• Strong ability to negotiate high-value supplier agreements and rebates.
• Proven skills in data-driven category management and cost optimization.
• Experience with ERP platforms, demand planning tools, and supply chain software.
• MBA or CPSM/CSCP certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing procurement team.
• Oversee procurement strategy across product categories to secure pricing and quality.
• Negotiate with manufacturers, brokers, and suppliers to establish favorable terms.
• Manage landed cost mechanics and pricing models to protect gross margins.
• Partner with warehouse and sales to align purchasing with demand forecasting.
• Track market trends and supply disruptions to safeguard inventory.
• Drive ERP adoption and analytics to streamline procurement processes.
