Job summary

As a player-coach, you will lead the partner management team, oversee five strategic relationships, and drive growth across W‑2, wirehouse, and 1099 channels.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of wealth management experience in sales, business development, advisor recruiting, or strategic relationship management.
• Sales and advisor recruiting experience with a track record of generating opportunities and improving conversion.
• Experience leading and developing a team, including coaching, goal setting, and performance management.
• Ability to travel up to 30% for partner meetings, home office visits, and industry events.

Responsibilities

• Personally manage approximately five strategic partners, building relationships with owners and recruiters.
• Establish joint business plans with target advisor segments and measurable commitments from each partner firm.
• Apply recruiting experience to help partners understand advisor motivations and improve referrals.
• Coordinate with recruiting to advance opportunities, clarify ownership, and resolve barriers.
• Use data and feedback to identify growth opportunities and adjust coverage or investment.
• Hold the program accountable for pipeline, meetings, joins, and conversions.
• Lead, coach, and develop Partner Account Managers and the Partner Analyst.
• Model consultative relationship management and build a culture of preparation and improvement.
• Influence stakeholders to secure support and deliver shared priorities.
• Engage executive sponsors and address underperformance with clarity and empathy.
