Job summary

FINRA is seeking an experienced Security Manager to oversee day-to-day security operations across multi-site FINRA offices, including executive protection and incident response. The role involves supervising contracted security staff, coordinating with security vendors, and serving as a key liaison for safety initiatives.

Ideal candidates have eight+ years in security management, strong investigative skills, and a proven track record in risk assessment and program compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years of experience in law enforcement, executive protection, and/or security management.
• Minimum two years of general investigative experience.
• Minimum three years of supervisory or management experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required; defensive driving certification preferred.
• Knowledge of intrusion and access control systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversees contract security officers and liaises with security vendor to maintain staffing levels and process invoices.
• Provides on-site executive protection to executive management as needed.
• Acts as primary responder to emergencies at FINRA offices.
• Identifies threats and recommends corrective measures to reduce vulnerabilities.
• Conducts program reviews to ensure FINRA security standards and best practices are met.
• Documents test results, identifies vulnerabilities, and suggests corrective actions.
