Job summary

Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco seeks a Vice President, Statistics to lead the Statistics function for the 12th District, with strategic direction and oversight for financial and regulatory reporting programs. You will ensure data collection, analysis, and provisioning align with System-wide modernization efforts.

As a senior member of the Statistics + Reserves Officer team, you will drive innovation, manage large teams, and collaborate across the district in a matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in finance, supervision, operations, or related field.
• 12+ years of people leadership experience.
• Experience managing large, complex teams, including managers and matrixed teams.
• Proven track record of strategic planning and execution in a matrixed, multi-stakeholder environment.
• Exceptional communication, influence, and presentation skills to all audience levels.
• Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change, balance competing priorities, and drive innovation.
• Experience building and maintaining productive relationships with internal and external partners.
• Must be able to work on site full time at our San Francisco location.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership and Business Area Oversight: provide long-term direction for the 12th District Statistics function.
• Collaborate with the Statistics + Reserves Officer team to develop and implement Group strategy.
• Actively represent the 12th District in Statistics and lead System workgroups and initiatives.
• Collaborate with 12th District Supervision and Statistics partners on regulatory reporting reviews.
• Maintain knowledge of emerging issues, trends in financial reporting, and applicable technologies.
• Champion experimentation and innovation within the team, Group, and System.
