Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco is seeking a Vice President for Statistics to lead the 12th District’s Statistics function, delivering strategic direction and operational oversight for financial reporting and structure data. This senior role collaborates across the System and drives modernization efforts within the Statistics + Reserves group.

Responsibilities include setting priorities with the Statistics + Reserves Officer team, representing the District in key System workgroups, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in finance, supervision, operations, or related field.
• 12+ years of people leadership experience.
• Experience managing large, complex teams, including managers and matrixed structures.
• Proven track record of strategic planning and execution in a multi-stakeholder environment.
• Exceptional communication, influence, and presentation skills across all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change and drive innovation.
• Experience building and maintaining productive relationships with internal and external partners.
• Must be able to work on site full time at our San Francisco location.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership and Business Area Oversight for the 12th District Statistics.
• Collaborate to develop and implement Group strategy with Bank and System alignment.
• Represent 12th District in Statistics and lead System workgroups and initiatives.
• Support regulatory reporting reviews and alignment with technology partners.
• Maintain knowledge of emerging issues in financial reporting and data technologies.
• Champion innovation and continuous improvement within the team and System.
• Coach and mentor team members and participate in workforce planning.
