Job summary

Mastercard Inc. seeks a Vice President of Stablecoin Product Strategy to design, develop, and implement blockchain and digital asset solutions, focusing on onboarding stablecoins into Mastercard’s suite of products and ensuring scalable adoption.

You will lead strategic partnerships, governance discussions, and monetization models across Open Standard participants and stablecoin issuers. You will oversee wholesale on- and off-ramp capabilities, drive market expansion, and shape product roadmaps

Qualifications

• Partnership management experience with financial institutions, fintechs, or digital asset participants.
• Strong knowledge of blockchain, crypto, and digital asset spaces; prior project contributions desirable.
• Experience in payments with cross-segment understanding, regulatory awareness, and treasury familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead Mastercard's strategic relationship with Open Standard and its member ecosystem to drive product strategy and ecosystem growth.
• Represent Mastercard in Open Standard governance, shaping product roadmap and market expansion.
• Lead development and commercialization of wholesale on- and off-ramp capabilities for tokenized money between fiat and blockchain networks.
• Drive strategic partnerships with stablecoin issuers, financial institutions, fintechs, infrastructure providers, and ecosystem participants.
• Negotiate with Stablecoin Issuers and other tokenized money issuers to enable Mastercard products and services.
• Drive adoption of Open Standard and compliant stablecoins across Mastercard products and services, identifying new use cases and distribution opportunities.
• Lead product and business engagements with third-party and distributed blockchains to enable payments.
• Develop innovative blockchain and digital asset solutions from ideation to development.
