Job summary

Galaxy Digital Inc. is seeking a collaborative SRE leader to drive data-center automation across Chicago, NYC, and Dallas. You will shape an enterprise automation roadmap, balancing hands-on coding with strategic direction while treating infrastructure as a product.

Lead a specialized SRE team, govern IaC with Terraform and Ansible, and push reliable, self-service platforms across hybrid environments to boost engineering velocity and system stability.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of infrastructure, SRE, or DevOps experience focused on automation at scale.
• Deep proficiency with Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience building OS images with Packer for Windows and Linux.
• Experience with VMware and cloud providers Azure and AWS.
• Scripting in Python, Go, PowerShell, or Bash.

Responsibilities

• Automation Platform Leadership: oversee a specialized SRE team focused on automation toolsets and systems.
• IaC Governance: establish standards for Terraform and secure deployments across the infrastructure.
• Configuration Management: lead Ansible playbooks and Packer pipelines for Windows and Linux.
• Monitoring & Observability: manage monitoring and SLIs/SLOs for reliability of tools.
• Lifecycle Management: automate lifecycle of physical and virtual assets, patching, scaling, and decommissioning.
• Custom Tooling & Scripting: develop Python/Go/PowerShell scripts for insights and tooling.
• Collaboration: partner with Datacenter teams and other stakeholders to enable workflows.
• Capacity & Performance: optimize resource usage in virtual environments.
• Mentorship & Growth: coach SREs and foster a culture of automate-first.
