Job summary

Cantor Fitzgerald is seeking a Vice President, Software Engineer to lead architectural reviews and remediation of the SecureTransport environment. The role focuses on stabilizing complex file transfer operations, enhancing security, and ensuring operational resilience.

Experience with Axway SecureTransport and related components is mandatory. Responsibilities include roadmap execution, disaster recovery validation, and coordinating knowledge transfer to the internal team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on Axway SecureTransport experience.
• Axway certification mandatory.
• Stabilize and remediate complex SecureTransport environments.
• Knowledge of PKI, certificate management and partner onboarding.
• HA, DR design and operational resilience for enterprise MFT.

Responsibilities

• Perform a comprehensive health and architecture review of SecureTransport.
• Identify and address single points of failure and anti-patterns.
• Define and execute a remediation roadmap for improved stability and security.
• Validate disaster recovery procedures and create tested runbooks.
• Harden DMZ posture and ensure secure relay patterns.
• Patch, upgrade, or re-platform components for a stable baseline.
• Establish proactive monitoring and alerting for transfer failures.
• Produce architecture diagrams and runbooks.
• Lead knowledge transfer sessions with the internal team.
