Job summary

Verra Mobility is seeking a Vice President of Software Delivery to drive enterprise software delivery across the business units, leading platform modernization and governance transformation.

You will own KPIs, oversee AI-enabled productivity, and build senior delivery teams while aligning with Product, Infrastructure, DevOps, Security, and PMO. This role focuses on scalability, reliability, and accelerated delivery.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering leadership experience.
• 7+ years leading multiple teams or Business Units.
• Proven success leading platform transformation and governance.
• Experience implementing scalable engineering governance and Agile/Lean delivery.
• Demonstrated experience deploying AI-enabled engineering practices and tooling.
• Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and leadership ability.
• Nlets fingerprinting background assessment completed.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise software delivery performance across Business Units.
• Lead platform consolidation and modernization into reusable services and APIs.
• Establish engineering standards for CI/CD, code review, testing, security, release readiness, and observability.
• Drive AI-enabled engineering capabilities to improve productivity and reliability.
• Represent Software Delivery in executive customer, partner, and stakeholder discussions.
• Build and coach high-performing delivery leadership teams across BU leaders and Tech Leads.
• Oversee CapEx and OpEx alignment and platform/tool investments tied to velocity.
• Align enterprise initiatives with delivery execution and governance.
