Job summary

Verra Mobility seeks a visionary Vice President, Software Delivery to drive enterprise software delivery, platform modernization, and governance across the organization. You will consolidate fragmented delivery models into platform-oriented capabilities, improve scalability, and accelerate delivery velocity while ensuring reliability.

You will partner with Product, Infrastructure, DevOps, AI, and PMO leadership to align business priorities with technology execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years of software engineering leadership experience, incl. leading multiple teams/BUs.
• Proven success transforming platforms, modernizing architectures, and establishing governance.
• Experience implementing scalable engineering governance, Agile/Lean delivery, and KPI-driven improvements.
• Proven track record deploying AI-enabled engineering practices and productivity tooling.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on enterprise vision and strategy for Software Delivery across all Business Units.
• Own delivery KPIs for predictability, quality, stability, and production health.
• Lead platform consolidation and modernization into reusable services and APIs.
• Establish engineering standards for CI/CD, testing, security scanning, and observability.
• Drive improvements in deployment frequency, lead time, and defect rates.
• Ensure AI directives and enterprise architecture standards are adopted.
• Partner with Product, Infrastructure, DevOps, Database, Security, AI, and PMO to align initiatives.
• Oversee KPI reviews, release readiness, and production health across units.
• Drive AI-enabled engineering capabilities to boost productivity and reliability.
