R1 RCM Inc. is seeking a strategic and operational leader for the role of Vice President, Self-Pay Performance & Client Strategy to drive enterprise revenue cycle performance for a major health system partner.

You will lead Self‑Pay, Early Out, Patient Financial Experience, Charity and Bad Debt operations, partnering with senior client executives, translating data into executive recommendations using SQL and Snowflake in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• 10+ years of progressive Revenue Cycle leadership experience.
• Experience leading Self-Pay, Patient Financial Services, Revenue Cycle Operations, Bad Debt, Early Out, or related functions.
• Deep knowledge of self-pay accounts receivable in hospital and physician settings with SBO experience.
• Proven ability to influence large teams and manage executive client relationships.
• Strong financial acumen with budgets, forecasts, and KPIs.
• Advanced analytics with SQL, Snowflake, and large datasets.
• Experience with Epic and enterprise reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Own the analytical assessment of financial, operational, and client performance across a large Self-Pay portfolio.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to operational leaders and client stakeholders.
• Lead revenue cycle transformation initiatives focusing on patient cash acceleration, bad debt reduction, and automation.
• Translate data into executive-level recommendations using SQL and Snowflake.
• Drive cross-functional teams and manage vendor and client communications.
