Job summary

Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking in New York seeks an experienced Securities Clearing Specialist (VP) to lead post-trade lifecycle controls for equity and fixed-income activities. You will execute intraday reconciliations and complex settlements, working closely with Front Office deal teams.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with extensive clearing/settlement experience, Series 99, and strong Excel/Word skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required with hands-on operational experience in clearing and settlement.
Active Series 99 registration required.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Experience with institutional fixed-income and equity trading systems (Summit, Fidessa, Loanet).
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills; capable of handling high-volume workflows independently.

Responsibilities

Post-Trade Lifecycle Controls for security trading and repos (Treasuries, Agencies, Corporates, MTNs, GSCS).
Intraday reconciliation between internal systems and clearing accounts to ensure data alignment.
Research and resolve complex transaction discrepancies to prevent failed trades.
Complete daily settlement functions including intraday securities borrowing and pair-offs.
Monitor positions and cash movements to minimize exposure during settlements.
Prepare detailed responses to institutional inquiries, investigations, and audits.
