Job summary

Blackstone seeks a senior finance professional to review and own financial reporting and SEC filings for perpetual funds. You will lead finance transformation initiatives, driving automation and AI-enabled reporting solutions across the group.

Collaborate with policy, accounting, legal, and audit partners to ensure timely, compliant disclosures. You will oversee the SOX program, mentor junior staff, and provide strategic insights on accounting treatments for new transactions.

Qualifications

• BS (or above) in Accounting or Finance is required.
• An active CPA license is required.
• 6+ years of public accounting or mixed public/private accounting experience.
• Strong public company disclosure, reporting, and auditing technical knowledge (U.S. GAAP, SEC, PCAOB).
• Experience with SEC filings and Forms 10-K/10-Q is required.
• Experience in the alternative asset management industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, oversee, and take ownership of financial reporting and SEC filings for Blackstone perpetual funds.
• Lead finance transformation initiatives, including automation and AI-enabled reporting solutions.
• Coordinate filing timelines with fund accounting, legal, and auditors; liaise with stakeholders.
• Manage relationships with internal and external auditors and maintain SOX program.
• Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative team culture.
• Support ad hoc technical accounting and strategic projects.
