Job summary

Blackstone is seeking a senior professional to own financial reporting and SEC filings for perpetual 40 Act funds in New York. You will ensure accurate disclosures and lead interactions with auditors, while advancing automation in finance processes.

CPA and 8+ years of accounting experience required, with a focus on registered funds and PE secondaries preferred. The role demands strong communication, collaboration, and leadership, with a commitment to excellence and mentoring junior team members

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA license required.
• 8+ years of public or mixed public/private accounting experience.
• Experience with 40 Act funds / registered funds and related reporting is required.
• Experience with PE secondaries and related accounting, valuation, and operations is preferred.
• Strong initiative and willingness to learn.
• Experience with automation and AI finance transformation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; highly collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

• Review, oversight and ownership of financial reporting and SEC filings for select Blackstone perpetual 40 Act funds.
• Ensure financial results are properly recorded in fund financial statements and SEC filings, including disclosures and footnotes.
• Manage relationships and communications with internal and external auditors.
• Contribute to automation and AI reporting solutions for SEC perpetual finance transformation.
• Mentor junior staff and participate in ad hoc analyses and projects.
