Job summary

Blackstone, the world’s largest alternative asset manager, seeks a senior finance professional to oversee perpetual funds reporting, including Form 10-K and 10-Q, and to lead SOX and control framework.

You will drive finance transformation, implement automation and AI-enabled reporting, coordinate with fund accounting, legal, and auditors, mentor juniors, and contribute to strategic accounting initiatives.

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting or Finance and CPA license are required.
• 6+ years of public accounting or mixed public/private accounting experience.
• Experience with SEC registration statements and SEC reporting (10-K/10-Q) is required.
• Strong GAAP, SEC and PCAOB knowledge, and familiarity with alternative asset management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, oversee, and take ownership of financial reporting and related SEC filings for Blackstone perpetual funds, including Forms 10-K and 10-Q.
• Lead finance transformation initiatives, contributing to automation and AI-enabled reporting solutions.
• Coordinate filing timelines with fund accounting, legal, compliance, auditors and senior finance leadership.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and oversee the SOX program.
• Develop and mentor junior team members and support ad hoc technical accounting projects.
