Job summary

The Carlyle Group in Washington, D.C. seeks a Vice President, SEC Reporting to lead the full lifecycle of public disclosures. You will oversee 10-Qs, 10-Ks, 8-Ks, proxy materials, and related financial disclosures, partnering with FP&A, Legal, Investor Relations, and external auditors.

In this senior role, you will evaluate new U.S. GAAP and SEC pronouncements, drive consistency across the firm’s disclosures, and champion AI-enabled improvements to the reporting process while mentoring one

Qualifications

• Experience in Big 4 public accounting and SEC reporting.
• Proven leadership and staff development experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP disclosures.

Responsibilities

• Draft, oversee, and file quarterly and annual SEC reports (10-Qs, 10-Ks, 8-Ks) and proxy statements.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Investor Relations, Legal, and external auditors.
• Lead and develop one direct report and contribute to Corporate Accounting.
• Evaluate new SEC pronouncements and ensure consistent disclosures.
• Drive process automation and use of AI in reporting.
