Job summary

The Carlyle Group in Washington, DC seeks a Vice President, SEC Reporting to lead the public filings process (10-Qs, 10-Ks, 8-Ks) and to coordinate with FP&A, Investor Relations, and Legal counsel.

The role drives ICFR improvements, partners with external auditors, and champions AI-enabled efficiency across disclosures, serving on the Disclosure Committee and reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• CPA required; public company/SEC reporting experience preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive professional experience.
• Big 4 background preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC pronouncements.
• Ability to present to senior leadership and audit committees.

Responsibilities

• Draft and oversee quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-Qs, 10-Ks, 8-Ks).
• Coordinate earnings presentations with FP&A.
• Lead Disclosure Committee discussions and ICFR improvements.
• Manage external auditors and SOX compliance.
• Provide leadership to the SEC Reporting team.
