Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Vice President - Screening Service Efficiency & Analytics Strategy Lead to transform how sanctions screening performance is measured, analyzed, and improved. You will build predictive, action-oriented insights and drive automation opportunities across the screening workflow.

You will bridge analytics/technology with operations, compliance, and governance forums, translating data into executive-ready narratives and reporting for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Data Analytics / Business Intelligence.
• Banking operations domain expertise, incl. sanctions/AML/fraud analytics.
• Data quality controls, lineage, and governance supporting auditability.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management with leadership-friendly narratives.
• Experience with big data platforms (Hadoop, Snowflake, AWS data lakes) and Advanced SQL.
• Proficiency in analytics tools: Alteryx, Python and/or R.
• Data visualization/reporting with Tableau and/or Power BI.
• Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent practical experience).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an enterprise metrics framework for sanctions screening with KPI scorecards.
• Establish governance standards for metric definitions, data lineage, and auditability.
• Analyze alert/case data to identify drivers of false positives.
• Produce trend and root-cause analyses on volumes, match rates, and backlog drivers.
• Define and monitor KPIs for filters, thresholds, and routing.
• Perform reviews after updates and upgrades; monitor drift and anomalies.
• Map end-to-end sanctions workflow to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Recommend process improvements with clear success metrics.
• Identify automation opportunities and build business cases for automation.
• Deliver advanced analytics capabilities and translate outputs into requirements.
• Design dashboards and recurring reporting for operational, risk, and executive audiences.
