Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks a Vice President to transform sanctions screening performance by delivering predictive analytics and actionable insights. You will bridge analytics, technology, and operations to reduce false positives and accelerate automation across the screening workflow.

Leading a governance-driven metrics framework, you will empower executive decision-making with trend analyses and KPI visibility, driving improvements across risk, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Data Analytics / Business Intelligence.
• Banking operations domain expertise, with experience in client/transaction screening; AML, sanctions, or fraud analytics experience.
• Demonstrated data stewardship & controls mindset: data quality controls, lineage/traceability, and governance supporting auditability.
• Proven communication and stakeholder management: ability to translate complex analytics into leadership-ready narratives.
• Experience with big data / modern data platforms and Advanced SQL.
• Proficiency in analytics tooling/languages: Alteryx, Python and/or R.
• Data visualization & reporting with Tableau and/or Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an enterprise metrics framework for sanctions screening with KPI scorecards and indicators.
• Establish governance standards for metric definitions and data lineage; lead stakeholder forums.
• Analyze alert/case data to identify drivers of false positives and data quality issues.
• Produce trend and root-cause analyses on volumes, throughput, and backlog drivers.
• Define and evolve filter KPIs and monitor performance and drift across systems.
• Map end-to-end sanctions workflow and identify bottlenecks, rework, and queue imbalances.
• Recommend process improvements with clear success metrics and benefits tracking.
• Identify automation opportunities and partner with technology to implement analytics-enabled automation.
• Deliver dashboards and recurring reports for operational, risk/compliance, and executive audiences.
