The role requires proven leadership in media sales, deep local market knowledge, and the ability to translate strategies into action across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience leading advertising/sales teams in media is required.
• Proven ability to grow new business and revenue opportunities.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills with a track record of success.

Responsibilities

• Lead the local sales organization to meet station revenue targets.
• Oversee advertising sales activities and control sales expenses.
• Translate market strategies into actionable revenue-generating plans.
• Direct sales processes to grow new business and deepen relationships.
• Set sales goals and guide budget and forecast processes.
• Oversee inventory and ensure profitable ad sales.
• Meet with key accounts and manage client relationships.
• Recruit, hire and train Account Executives.
• Review territories and call lists to optimize performance.
• Coordinate with marketing, production, and ops to hit sales goals.
