Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Vice President in Risk Management - Card, Merchant Services and Auto within the Consumer & Business Banking Risk Management group. You will drive the production of the auto loss forecast and partner with Finance, Risk, and Modeling to ensure accurate, governance-compliant analyses that inform senior leadership.

You will mentor analysts, design automated solutions, present clear stories with supporting data, and help shape risk appetite integration across credit

Qualifications

• 6+ years in credit management, loss forecasting, or related analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with business partners and model end-users.
• Ability to think outside the box to tackle emerging risk.
• Experience with SAS, SQL, Python, Excel, and MS Office.
• Flexible and able to handle multiple tasks in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead production of the credit reserve loss forecast for Auto Finance portfolio.
• Analyze drivers of emerging risk and quantify macro trends.
• Collaborate with Finance, Collections, and Risk strategy on portfolio changes.
• Coordinate with Risk modeling to ensure models meet expectations.
• Create senior-management presentations with a clear data story.
• Improve consistency and efficiency across processes and reporting.
• Mentor and coach junior analysts in risk management skills.
• Coordinate risk appetite framework integration across functions.
• Support new products/channels by evaluating credit reserve scenarios.
• Support audits with strong controls and documentation.
