Job summary

Cuisine Solutions Inc. is seeking a Vice President of Retail Sales to lead national growth across grocery, mass and club channels from its Sterling, VA base.

The executive will build a high-performance retail sales organization, shape pricing and trade strategy, and drive revenue and profitability while aligning with Marketing and Culinary teams. The role requires deep retail experience in premium prepared foods, strong leadership, and a track record of launching successful products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in food manufacturing with a focus on retail channels.
• Experience with premium, refrigerated or prepared foods; sous vide experience highly preferred.
• Proven success in launching and scaling new products in retail environments.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a national retail sales strategy for sous vide product lines.
• Build and lead a high-performing sales team including regional directors and account managers.
• Cultivate relationships with key retail partners to drive placement, promotions and category growth.
• Lead customer negotiations, trade spend management, and joint business planning.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Culinary teams to align product innovation with retailer needs.
• Partner with Operations and Supply Chain for forecasting, inventory management, and on-time delivery.
• Monitor market trends to identify differentiation opportunities and growth.
• Represent the brand at trade shows, culinary events, and industry forums.
