Job summary

UT Federal Credit Union is seeking a VP, Director of Retail Operations to lead a critical suite of Retail operations including deposits, electronic payments, card services, and fraud management. The role focuses on strategy, process improvement, and people leadership to drive member engagement and operational excellence.

The candidate will build and execute forward-looking operational plans, strengthen controls and risk management, and develop leaders across the Retail footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business/finance or related field.
• Eight+ years of progressive leadership experience in a financial institution.
• Proven success leading operational teams and change initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute forward-looking operational strategies to support growth and membership engagement.
• Lead process improvement, automation, and modernization to improve efficiency and service delivery.
• Strengthen organizational capabilities, workforce readiness, and succession planning.
• Ensure strong operational controls, compliance, risk management, and audit readiness.
• Utilize data and analytics to drive performance, service quality and decisions.
