Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in the United States seeks a Vice President in the Product Controllers team to support resolution and recovery reporting by analyzing, reconciling, and presenting financial and technical data.

You will build workflows, partner with senior finance stakeholders, and strengthen governance to deliver timely, accurate management reporting. You will collaborate across finance and control groups, contribute to process improvements, and ensure compliance with GAAP while driving

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in product control, financial control, accounting, or financial reporting.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting practices.
• Proven ability to perform detailed reconciliations and explain variance with clarity.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to distill data for senior leaders.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with SAP and data tools (SQL/Databricks).

Responsibilities

• Produce and coordinate deliverables supporting the Resolution and Recovery plan.
• Analyze, prepare, and reconcile accounting and technical data for financial reporting.
• Develop and enhance workflows and controls for governed reporting production.
• Partner with senior finance leaders and control groups to drive execution.
• Communicate complex findings through executive-ready summaries and reporting materials.
• Escalate issues with evidence-based analysis and propose options.
• Support analyses for new business initiatives and post-implementation review.
• Implement new accounting and reporting requirements per GAAP and regulatory changes.
• Maintain and improve financial and reporting systems used for sourcing, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Respond to ad hoc requests while balancing deadlines and priorities.
• Contribute to projects that streamline processes and strengthen data practices.
