Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in the Banking and Wealth Management division seeks a Vice President to support resolution and recovery reporting by analyzing, reconciling, and presenting financial data. Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with SAP.
  • Experience with SQL/Databricks for data sourcing.
  • Ability to work under deadlines in a matrix organization.

You'll help shape how Banking and Wealth Management businesses prepare and deliver resolution and recovery reporting. Working with partners across finance and control functions, you'll turn complex data into insights leaders can act on. You'll also help modernize workflows and strengthen reporting controls as requirements evolve.

Job Summary

As a Vice President in the Product Controllers team within Banking and Wealth Management, you will support resolution and recovery reporting by analyzing, reconciling, and presenting financial and technical data. You will help build and improve workflows that enable timely, accurate deliverables and clear management reporting. You will partner closely with senior finance stakeholders and control groups to align on requirements, resolve issues, and strengthen governance. You will contribute to business integration and process improvement initiatives that promote best practices in data analysis and reporting.

Job Responsibilities
  • Produce and coordinate deliverables supporting the Banking and Wealth Management Resolution and Recovery plan.
  • Analyze, prepare, and reconcile accounting and technical data to support financial reporting and disclosures.
  • Develop and enhance workflows and controls to support repeatable, well-governed reporting production.
  • Partner with senior finance leaders and cross‑functional control groups to gather inputs, align priorities, and drive execution.
  • Communicate complex findings clearly through executive-ready summaries, narratives, and reporting materials.
  • Escalate issues constructively, proposing options and supporting decisions with evidence-based analysis.
  • Support analyses for new business initiatives, including outcome tracking and post‑implementation assessment.
  • Implement new accounting and reporting requirements by staying current on regulatory changes and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Maintain and improve financial and reporting systems used for sourcing, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests and routine reporting needs while balancing tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
  • Contribute to special projects that streamline processes and strengthen data and reporting best practices.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in product control, financial control, accounting, or financial reporting.
  • Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting practices.
  • Proven ability to perform detailed reconciliations and explain drivers of variance with accuracy and clarity.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, including the ability to distill complex data into concise insights for senior leaders.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage tight deadlines and deliver high-quality work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Excel for analysis, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Experience with SAP (or comparable enterprise finance systems).
  • Experience using data tools (for example, SQL and Databricks or similar platforms) for data sourcing and reporting workflows.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills
  • Experience supporting resolution and recovery planning or regulatory-driven reporting deliverables.
  • Professional certification such as CPA (or equivalent).
  • Experience designing or improving end-to-end reporting processes, including documentation and controls.
  • Familiarity with data governance, data quality controls, and lineage concepts in reporting environments.
  • Experience partnering across finance, risk, and control functions in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong ability to drive process simplification and standardization across multiple stakeholders.
