Walton Global is seeking a Vice President, Real Estate (West Region) to oversee diligence and transactional documents for acquisitions and dispositions in the Western U.S. The role involves managing external counsel, title and escrow firms, and other service providers, and supporting the Legal and operations teams across transaction lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate/Business/Finance or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in land acquisition, land development, or residential real estate with a homebuilder or land development company.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; knowledge of third-party market data is a plus.
• Willingness and ability to travel 2–3 weeks per month to land acquisition sites and offices.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills; capable of coordinating multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth target market research to identify future acquisition areas in specified MSA.
• Target properties including large pre-development land and smaller developable parcels.
• Oversee escrow and feasibility period for land acquisitions.
• Identify risks and present to leadership.
• Engage and manage consultants, brokers, lawyers, and title companies.
• Coach and support Land Acquisition Analysts on processes and standards.
• Complete Proforma modeling and underwriting for land opportunities.
