Job summary

SunState Medical Specialists in Florida seeks a Vice President, Radiation Oncology to lead the service line across 25 centers. You will drive operations, physician recruitment, EMR optimization, and standardize practices to deliver high-quality cancer care.

Reporting to the CEO, you will build trusted relationships with physicians and guide site leaders to align centers into one SMS radiation oncology practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of radiation oncology experience, including 5+ years leading multi-site operations at the director level or above.
• Proven experience leading multiple layers of management across a large, dispersed footprint.
• Working knowledge of RCM and EMR optimization.

Responsibilities

• Build physician relationships and trust across sites; act as advocate and operational partner.
• Lead regional managers and center operations; ensure staffing and equipment uptime.
• Drive revenue, expense, and productivity targets; partner with Finance on reviews and capital planning.
