Job summary

OnePulse is seeking a visionary VP of Research & Development to lead its healthcare software portfolio. This executive will shape technology strategy, align product roadmaps, and scale geographically distributed teams while driving modernization including AI-enabled workflows.

You will own budgets, talent strategy, and governance across eight-plus products, collaborating with Product, Security, and Support to deliver reliable, compliant solutions for physicians and providers.

Qualifications

5+ years in leadership roles within healthcare software or related field.
Experience delivering AI-enabled development and modernization initiatives.
Ability to translate market priorities into executable technical roadmaps.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain a portfolio level technology strategy across eight+ products.
Partner with Product to translate priorities into realistic roadmaps and investments.
Provide architectural leadership across diverse tech stacks and hosting models.
Own engineering execution, release management, and quality engineering.
Establish engineering standards and governance with flexibility per product.
Develop modernization strategies grounded in customer value and business viability.
Rethink SDLC for AI-enabled environments with guardrails for security and privacy.
Lead a geographically dispersed R&D organization with clear decision rights and succession plans.
Own R&D budgets, forecasts, and vendor decisions; connect tech to business outcomes.
Collaborate across functions to improve execution and customer outcomes.
