Job summary

New York Life Insurance seeks a Corporate Vice President to lead Quality Engineering & Enablement, responsible for strategy, architecture, standards, and automation across product solutions in a large financial services ecosystem.

The role demands hands-on engineering background, 15+ years in QE, and 10+ years leading QE organizations, with a track record delivering automation, CI/CD, and AI-enabled quality outcomes across complex enterprise platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
• 15+ years of progressive engineering and Quality Engineering experience.
• 10+ years leading Quality Engineering or related engineering organizations.
• Hands-on engineering experience early in career; built automation and QE solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the Quality Engineering strategy, target‑state architecture, and standards across Product Solutions.
• Establish the environment and test-data strategy for complex, interconnected systems and automate validation.
• Provide QE architecture and enablement leadership for large, complex financial services programs.
• Establish measurable QE outcomes across automation, environment stability, and production quality.
• Build and develop a strong QE organization and technical community.
