SoundThinking, Inc. is seeking a Vice President of Sales, Public Safety Solutions to lead the team bringing the SafetySmart platform to police departments, sheriff's offices, 911 and related public-sector buyers nationwide.

You will report to the Senior Vice President, Sales and build a high-performance national sales organization, setting strategy, standards, and culture aligned with our mission. Ideal candidates have 15+ years in enterprise SaaS or public sector sales, with 7+ years leading

Competenze

• 15+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in enterprise SaaS, public sector technology, security technology, or public safety technology.
• 7+ years leading regional or national sales teams with meaningful revenue accountability.
• A track record of success selling into government, law enforcement, or public-sector environments, including complex, multi-stakeholder procurement cycles.
• Strong forecasting discipline, executive presence, and a genuine passion for the public safety mission.

Mansioni

• Own bookings, recurring revenue growth, renewals, and pipeline performance across the Public Safety business.
• Build and execute multi-year growth strategies that expand SoundThinking's footprint across federal, state, local, and adjacent government markets.
• Drive predictable performance through disciplined forecasting and a consistent operating cadence.
• Define and execute the sales strategy for our Public Safety solution set; maintain MEDDPICC across territories.
• Partner with Sales Operations to strengthen territory design, account planning, and pipeline health.
• Serve as a trusted senior advisor for SoundThinking with chiefs, sheriffs, commissioners, and city/county leaders.
• Sponsor the company's most strategic opportunities and executive-level customer relationships.
• Represent SoundThinking at industry conferences, associations, and public safety forums.
• Lead the shift from single-product selling to full SafetySmart platform adoption.
• Grow multi-solution engagement across product offerings and future offerings.
