SoundThinking is seeking a Vice President of Sales, Public Safety Solutions to lead the team driving SafetySmart across police departments and public-sector buyers nationwide. You will shape strategy, standards, and culture while reporting to the SVP, Sales.

The role emphasizes revenue growth, multi-year expansion, and ecosystem selling across multiple products, including AI-enabled workflows, with travel and national scope.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive sales leadership in enterprise SaaS or public-sector tech.
• 7+ years leading regional or national sales teams with revenue accountability.
• Track record selling into government, law enforcement, or public-sector environments.
• Strong forecasting discipline and executive presence; passion for public safety.
• Preferred: experience with AI-enabled, multi-product platform selling.

Responsibilities

• Own bookings, recurring revenue growth, renewals, and pipeline performance for Public Safety.
• Build and execute multi-year growth strategies across federal, state, local, and adjacent government markets.
• Define and execute the sales strategy for the Public Safety solution set.
• Maintain MEDDPICC methodology across every territory.
• Partner with Sales Operations to strengthen territory design, account planning, and pipeline health.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, Finance, and Operations.
