Job summary

SoundThinking seeks a Vice President of Sales, Public Safety Solutions to lead the nationwide effort for the SafetySmart platform across federal, state, local government buyers. You’ll shape strategy, set standards, and build a high-impact sales organization reporting to the SVP of Sales.

You will lead Regional Directors and Account Executives, drive bookings, renewals, and pipeline, and champion multi-product platform adoption with AI-enabled tools and a strong focus on public safety outcomes.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in enterprise SaaS or public sector tech.
• 7+ years leading regional or national sales teams with revenue accountability.
• Proven success selling into government or public-sector environments with complex procurement.

Responsibilities

• Own bookings, recurring revenue growth, renewals and pipeline across Public Safety.
• Define and execute multi-year growth strategies across government markets.
• Lead and coach Regional Directors and Account Executives.
• Lead the shift to multi-solution platform adoption and ecosystem selling.
• Partner with cross-functional teams for pricing, product strategy and revenue growth.
• Represent the company at industry events and sponsor executive-level customer relationships.
