Alteryx is searching for a VP, Product Management (Data & AI). This position is remote-friendly.

Position Overview

We are looking for a technically adept and strategic Vice President of Product Management to lead our Data and AI initiatives—owning platform capabilities that enable data connectivity, governance, execution at scale, and the future of agentic AI. This role focuses on transforming Alteryx into the preferred platform for IT data teams—bridging the gap between enterprise data strategies and analyst needs—while also establishing Alteryx as the enterprise hub for AI-ready data and agent-powered workflows. The leader in this role will guide our efforts to support secure, governed, and scalable AI integration across modern data ecosystems. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, this VP will serve as a core member of the product leadership team and a key interface to the executive staff.

Primary Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Drive the transformation of our connector ecosystem, enabling scaled integration with a wide range of data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks and Big Query.
• Product Vision: Deliver a comprehensive data management experience, including data discovery, catalog integration, and scalable analytics.
• AI Strategy: Lead the development and execution of our AI Clearinghouse and agentic strategies, positioning Alteryx at the forefront of AI-driven data pipelines.
• Team Management: Oversee a team of 4 Directors, each managing 5-7 Product Managers, cultivating a high-performance culture focused on technical excellence and customer value.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, UX, Marketing, Sales, SE, and CX teams to ensure cohesive product development and delivery.
• Customer Engagement: Engage with IT stakeholders to understand their needs, address the 'shadow IT' perception, and establish Alteryx as a trusted partner in data strategy execution.
• Executive Communication: Regularly present product strategies and progress to the ELT and participate in board-level discussions.
  
  

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive product management experience in the software space, with a focus on data platforms, AI, and IT adoption.
• 5+ years in a leadership role, building and managing high performing teams in multiple geographies.
• Strong technical background, with the ability to engage deeply with engineering teams and understand complex data architectures.
• Proven track record of transforming product perceptions and driving adoption within IT organizations.
• Strong understanding of cloud data platforms and their integration into analytics workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to drive product unification and transformation initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills, with experience in cross-functional team management and executive stakeholder engagement.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  
  

Compensation

Alteryx is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as your relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.

The salary range for this role in the United States is $310,000 - $345,000.

Employees may also be eligible for a wide range of other benefits, such as a bonus or commission, medical, retirement, financial, wellness, time off, employee discounts, and others.
