The Role: Senior Dire ctor , Product Management - Advertising

  • Location: Remote - United States with periodic travel to regional offices and offsites
  • Reports to: Vice President, Product Management

Overview / About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director of Product Management to lead the continued growth of our digital advertising business. This executive will be responsible for advancing both on-platform and off-platform advertising capabilities while cultivating strategic relationships with top-tier vendors and partners across the ecosystem.

Advertising is one of the most popular account-based activations in B2B marketing—and the rise of AI is unlocking new opportunities to automate workflows, personalize experiences, and deliver innovative solutions to our customers. This role is central to our long-term growth strategy as we expand our ad platform and capitalize on the next generation of advertising technologies.

The Senior Director will lead a team of product managers directly and work closely with global cross-functional teams—including engineering, design, product marketing, and operations—in a distributed, remote-first environment with regular hub days and occasional international offsites.

The Senior Director will lead the integration of AI into our ad platform, launch Connected TV (CTV) capabilities, form new partnerships with channel and technology vendors, build a new agency program, oversee day-to-day ad operations, and support strategic customer opportunities across the sales organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the vision and roadmap for our advertising platform across channels, formats, and customer segments.
  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle in collaboration with engineering, design, and analytics.
  • Drive innovation through the integration of AI and automation into advertiser workflows.

Partnership & Ecosystem Development

  • Identify and build strategic partnerships with DSPs, SSPs, data providers, agencies, technology vendors, and walled gardens.
  • Launch and lead a new agency program to expand sales and activations.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer success to accelerate adoption and revenue.
  • Directly manage over $200M in annual customer ad spend.
  • Own financial processes, including monthly invoicing, vendor payments, pricing strategy, forecasting, and internal financial reporting.
  • Optimize ad operations for accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Collaborate across legal, finance, and technical domains to support cross-functional initiatives and ensure compliance and alignment.
  • Act as a senior business leader and product evangelist within the company and externally, especially with our sales and customer success teams.
  • Mentor and grow a high-performing, globally distributed product team.

Qualifications

Required

  • 10+ years in digital advertising and SaaS, with at least 5 years in senior product leadership roles.
  • Deep experience in programmatic advertising , including working with DSPs, SSPs, and media buying agencies.
  • Proven track record of scaling advertising businesses, especially one serving B2B clientele , ideally including building or growing a buying platform.
  • Demonstrated ownership of large-scale advertising businesses with $50M+ in media spend.
  • Strong grasp of performance marketing KPIs , operational metrics, and reporting workflows.
  • Financial acumen, including responsibility for forecasting, pricing, invoicing, and vendor management.
  • Collaborative, analytical, and operationally rigorous with a bias for action.
  • Comfortable navigating complex technical, legal, and financial workstreams.

Preferred

  • Experience launching or scaling CTV or ABM products.
  • Background in AI-driven ad products or B2B SaaS platforms.
  • MBA or advanced technical/business degree.

Base Salary Range: $219,862 – 329,793 . The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including but not limited to work location and experience. The base salary is one component of 6sense’s total compensation package for this position. Other compensation may include a bonus program or commission plan, and stock options if approved by 6sense’s board. In addition, 6sense provides a variety of benefits, including generous health insurance coverage, life, and disability insurance, a 401K employer matching program, paid holidays, self-care days, and paid time off (PTO). #Li-remote
