Archer, in collaboration with BNY, seeks a Vice President, Product Designer to join the Design Accelerator in Pittsburgh, PA. You will shape complex digital experiences, advocate for AI-informed design, and lead end-to-end design initiatives across cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes framing problems, mapping journeys, prototyping for learning, and guiding teams through ambiguity while delivering high-quality design outcomes. A strong collaborative approach and portfolio are required.

Responsibilities

• Understand and frame problems through research, conversations, data, and observation to identify needs and opportunities.
• Map complex experiences with journey maps and workflows to show connections and identify where design can help.
• Design and test solutions with concepts, interactions, and interfaces for complex digital products; prototype to learn and gain alignment.
• Work through ambiguity by asking questions and identifying assumptions to guide what to explore or build next.
• Collaborate across product, engineering, research, business, and operations to balance user needs, business priorities, and technical realities.
• Communicate your thinking clearly to help stakeholders understand and act on the work.
• Contribute to lasting design quality by applying shared patterns and leaving a path for teams to continue.
