We are seeking a Vice President of Product Design to lead and shape our product design efforts, reporting to the Chief Product Officer. You will champion design excellence across the organization, ensuring our products are intuitive, elegant, and effective for non-technical users. You will lead a talented team of UX/UI designers, collaborate with Product Management and Engineering, and oversee our enterprise design system to maintain consistency and efficiency.

This role requires a hands-on design executive with system thinking, a love for experimentation, and experience integrating AI assistants, agents, and data-driven insights into user-friendly, trustworthy products.

What You'll Do:
  1. Shape and Execute Design Excellence: Define and evolve a unified product design vision aligned with WorkWave’s mission and customer needs. Lead system-level design connecting user journeys and features into seamless experiences. Own and scale the enterprise design system, Tidal.
  2. Champion AI-First, Human-Centered Experiences: Build AI-embedded design frameworks, collaborate on prototypes, and advocate for responsible AI design.
  3. Drive Rapid Experimentation and Iteration: Utilize AI tools for rapid prototyping and establish practices for usability testing and iteration.
  4. Lead and Develop a Design Team: Recruit, mentor, and foster a collaborative culture. Implement design operations to scale efficiency.
  5. Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a design advocate in executive discussions, build relationships across teams, and ensure alignment on user-centric priorities.
  6. Validate and Deliver Value: Own usability standards, validate features, and translate user insights into actionable improvements.
What You’ll Bring:
  • 10+ years in product design, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles.
  • Experience designing for non-technical audiences in complex environments.
  • Proven success with AI-first products and data-driven insights.
  • Familiarity with rapid prototyping tools (e.g., Replit, Bolt).
  • System-level design thinking and experience scaling enterprise design systems.
  • Strong user research, usability testing skills, and a passion for iterative design.
  • Exceptional collaboration and influence skills.
  • Experience building and scaling high-performing design teams.
  • A passion for accessible, simple, human-centered experiences.

Salary Range: $250,000 - $300,000 annually, plus a 20% bonus, depending on experience and qualifications.
