Job Description
The VP – Market Leader will serve as the primary leader of Trucordia within the market, overseeing day-to-day operations, client service, and business development. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth performance, fostering a collaborative team environment, and ensuring alignment with the Platform’s goals and Trucordia’s organizational commitments. Market Leader reports to the Senior Vice President of the Platform.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Achieve Trucordia revenue growth targets within a specified market.
- Execute initiatives to attract new business and expand the office’s footprint within the market.
- Represent the office in the local market building relationships with clients, prospects, carriers and community partners.
- Partner with Sales team to identify opportunities for growth including new business development, cross-selling and up-selling to existing clients.
- Lead and manage the local team including sales professionals and client service and administrative staff (as needed), in coordination with Platform leadership.
- In coordination with Platform Operations Leader, ensure efficient and effective office operations including workflows, resource allocation, and compliance with company IT, tools, SOP’s and policies.
- Monitor growth and sales pipeline KPI’s and implement strategies to improve productivity and service delivery.
- Collaborate with the regional leadership team to align office operations with Platformwide objectives.
- Oversee the delivery of exceptional client service ensuring satisfaction and long-term retention.
- Coordinate with other Market Leaders within the Platform to share best practices, align on goals and maintain consistency across locations.
- Manage the office’s financial performance including budgeting, forecasting and expense control.
- Work closely under the direction of Platform Leadership to monitor revenue and profitability and implement strategies to achieve financial targets.
Other Possible Responsibilities
- Generate new leads and build a strong pipeline of potential clients through proactive prospecting, networking, and marketing efforts.
- Present customized insurance solutions to meet clients' specific commercial needs, including property, liability, workers' compensation, and other lines of coverage.
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients, acting as a trusted advisor for their commercial insurance needs.
- Create and present comprehensive insurance proposals and quotations to potential clients, clearly explaining policy terms, conditions, and pricing.
- Leverage industry knowledge to keep clients informed on market trends, emerging risks, and changes in regulations that may affect their insurance needs.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and changes in commercial insurance products.
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports on sales performance and account activities.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 8-10 years’ experience in a leadership or management role within the insurance industry.
- Strong knowledge of property and casualty insurance, including commercial and personal lines.
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Insurance, Finance or similar area of study. Master’s Degree preferred.
Preferred Qualifications Include
- Must possess a developing knowledge of commercial insurance markets to place new business and understand the supplemental insurance marketplace.
- Strong sales acumen and experience with Salesforce
