Job summary

Irvine Company Apartment Communities seeks a Vice President, Procurement Strategy to define and execute the comprehensive sourcing and procurement strategy for the Apartments division. You will lead executive-aligned roadmaps, optimize vendor networks, and drive eProcurement initiatives via Coupa to enable scalable growth.

You will mentor a high-performing team, oversee enterprise-wide sourcing, and manage budgeting, spend analytics, and risk frameworks to ensure long-term operational resilience

Qualifications

• Experience leading procurement strategy teams and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proven ability to manage eProcurement platforms, especially Coupa.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a procurement strategy team with clear metrics.
• Direct enterprise-wide sourcing, bidding, and contracts across communities.
• Drive cross-divisional category strategies to optimize pricing and service.
• Develop vendor scorecards and evaluate supplier performance.
• Manage spend analytics and budgeting for the division.
• Ensure audit, compliance, and enterprise risk frameworks.
• Oversee eProcurement system strategy and Coupa enhancements.
• Coordinate revenue share programs and supplier rebates.
