Job summary

The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) is seeking a Vice President of Development in Alexandria, VA. This executive leads all private philanthropy initiatives, shaping strategy and translating it into a concrete, measurable plan that grows annual revenue and donor engagement.

You will drive multi-year revenue growth, supervise a high-performing Development team, and partner with senior leadership to integrate fundraising across programs, operations, and communications,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum ten to twelve years of fundraising experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Proven success building and growing a fundraising program.
• Experience managing six- to seven-figure gifts and portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-year private philanthropy strategy and translate growth plans into priorities and targets.
• Serve as senior strategist and partner to the President/CEO and organizational leaders.
• Develop a disciplined donor pipeline across individual giving, foundations, and corporate partnerships.
• Direct the Development team, set goals, roles, and accountability, and ensure follow-through.
