Job summary

Blue Owl Capital is seeking a highly accomplished Vice President or Principal to lead fundraising and client coverage for US institutional investors in the eastern region. You will drive capital formation across pension plans, endowments, foundations, and sovereign-related entities with a strong network and credibility.

The role requires strategic coverage, pipeline management, and collaboration with investment teams to deliver tailored solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of institutional capital raising experience.
• Experience at an alternative asset manager, placement agent, or institutional-focused investment bank preferred.
• Proven track record of raising capital from and managing relationships with US institutional investors.
• Deep understanding of the US institutional investor landscape and decision-making dynamics.
• Series 7, 63 and SIE registrations required.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital raising, new business development, and relationship management across US institutional investors, focused east of the Rockies.
• Develop and execute a strategic coverage plan aligned with fundraising objectives.
• Build, maintain, and deepen relationships with senior decision-makers across pension funds, endowments, and foundations.
• Manage an investor pipeline with disciplined CRM tracking and regular leadership reporting.
• Contribute to fundraising targets across flagship and successor funds with proactive origination.
• Collaborate with investment teams to deliver tailored solutions and market insights.
• Represent Blue Owl with credibility in client meetings and industry events.
• Coordinate with regional peers to support a global coverage model and best practices.
